Firegraphic - Play slide show with your photos

You can select the sequence that your images will be shown, including the image description in the slide show, set the slide show timer to determine how fast the image going on to the next, and even select the background color for your slide show.

To start and stop the slide show in the Viewer:

Right-click on the Viewer and select Slide Show (Shortcut: Alt+S)

There are two ways to play slide show in the Explorer window. You can simply start the slide show in the folder you are browsing, or you can append images from different folders to the Thumbnail Tray and play them in slide show.

To start the slide show in the Explorer:

Method 1

  1. Click the slide show button or choose Tools > Slide Show... (Shortcut: Alt+S)

  2. Select the preference for the slide show:

    • Full screen mode - check if you want to view the slide show in fullscreen
    • Show caption - check if you want to include the description of the image in the slide show
    • Play - choose to view images in the current folder or include images in subfolder
    • Sequence - select either forward, backward, or random for the slide show display sequence
    • Repeat - check if you want to display images in a particular folder continuously
    • Timing - enter a number to determine how fast the image going on to the next
    • Background color - select a color for the slide show background
    • Caption color - select a color for the slide show caption
  3. Click OK to start the slide show.

Method 2

  1. Select the images you want to play in the slide show.
  2. Add the selected images to the Thumbnail Tray.
  3. Click the slide show button or choose Tools > Slide Show... (Shortcut: Alt+S)
  4. In the slide show preference dialog box, select Play Thumbnail Tray.

  5. Change other slide show settings if desired.
  6. Click OK to start the slide show.


Note:
To add a description to an image, select the image and do one of the following:

  • Click on the Properties button
  • Double-click on the Properties pane
  • Right-click on the selected image and select Properties

In the Properties dialog box, type the description and click OK to save when you finished.
